A celebration of indigenous culture and community.

The Milingimbi Festival draws people together to celebrate and strengthen cultural expression and promote the spiritual and physical well being of the community. It offers opportunities for older people to encourage the young towards a healthy lifestyle and to take more responsibility for their own lives.

The Festival encompasses a combination of events, including traditional dance, music workshops, some great bands, and an art and craft display, with the opportunity to purchase the art directly from the artists and the art centre.

Note that this is an ALCOHOL-FREE event and no alcohol may be brought into the community.

Getting there
